The maintenance staff is a critical part of MAA. They deliver superior customer service to our residents in three major areas:
- Make Ready - Our service technicians work behind the scenes to make our apartments like new and ready for our new residents.
- Service Requests - Our service technicians are experts in their field and are always ready to tackle whatever maintenance requests our residents have. Our goal is to resolve every issue, big or small, within 24 hours.
- Preventive Maintenance - Our service technicians work hard to perform inspections and keep our properties in working order, often preventing many issues before they arise.

Service Managers lead the service team to ensure overall quality of community maintenance and manage the maintenance expenses.
Service Technicians troubleshoot and repair resident maintenance issues and assist with the make ready process.
Service Representatives, known in the apartment industry as punch or make-ready technicians, prepare apartments for new residents to move in.
