- Customer service excellence is an important measurement for an MAA community. We have a responsibility to our residents to provide an all around great living experience.
We routinely measure our effectiveness in this area based on customer feedback, which allows us to know how to improve, and also allows MAA as a company to recognize communities that achieve service excellence.
How is feedback collected?
Customer service feedback is collected through email surveys. All MAA residents are eligible to participate, and each resident chooses whether or not to provide feedback. Survey responses are anonymous.
Resident feedback is requested at five different points throughout the customer's experience with us, from their first visit to the community through their move out experience.
What does the Customer Service Rating mean?
The Customer Service Rating on a community’s website is an average score of resident feedback.
3 Stars = Good Customer Service Performance
4 Stars = Excellent Customer Service Performance
5 Stars = Outstanding Customer Service Performance
Five stars is the highest rating a community may receive.
